What does the Financial Counselling Network do?

Support the delivery of financial counselling services

Financial counsellors who are members of the Financial Counselling Network are experienced in developing strategies and plans and know how to access a variety of options to assist in re-establishing lives.

Support the delivery of financial wellbeing options

We support and facilitate the delivery of workshops and coaching sessions to provide community members with tools and skills to be financially resilient.

Work with external partners and stakeholders

We advocate on behalf of people to improve options available to those in financial stress as well as build longer-term capacity and continuously improve the quality of services provided.

A not-for-profit service (1800 007 007) that helps people in Australia tackle their debt problems helping them to get their lives back on track.

The free-call Food and Emergency Relief Service has been set up to support you. Call us on (1800 979 777) from 9am–5pm Mon to Fri.

Open 24 hours (1800 737 732) to support people experiencing, at risk or impacted by sexual assault, domestic or family violence and abuse.

Lifeline provides all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
